Registered Building Inspector 2A

We are currently working with a Local Authority in Greater Manchester that is looking to appoint two experienced Class 2A Registered Building Inspectors to support their busy Building Control service on an initial 6-month contract. The Role You will play a key role in ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards across a varied portfolio of projects. Responsibilities will include: * Managing a mixed caseload of domestic and commercial developments. * Carrying out site inspections and ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and Building Regulations. * Providing professional technical advice to applicants, developers, and members of the public. * Maintaining accurate records and delivering a high standard of customer service. About You To be considered for this role, you will need: * Class 2A registration under the Building Safety Regulator * Demonstrable experience working within a Local Authority Building Control environment. * Strong technical knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislation. * Excellent communication skills, including report writing. * The ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload effectively.
