Teaching Personnel is seeking reliable, confident and motivated Cover Supervisors to support a number of local secondary schools in the Blackburn area. About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the teacher Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Support pupils with their learning and provide feedback to teaching staff Build strong relationships with students and school teams This role is ideal for: Graduates considering a future in teaching Aspiring teachers seeking school-based experience Teaching Assistants ready for the next step Individuals with youth work, coaching, or mentoring backgrounds What We’re Looking For Strong communication and behaviour management skills Confidence leading groups of students aged 11–16 A positive, proactive and flexible approach Availability for full-time work Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel) Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
