Technical Project Manager Location: South of Cambridge (Hybrid - 3 days in office) Contract: Permanent, Full-time About the Role We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, technology‑led projects involving advanced hardware and software systems. This is a hands‑on role where you'll work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and to specification. Our products are typically deployed as part of integrated surveillance systems, working alongside other sensors such as cameras, networking infrastructure, power supplies, and mechanical mounting solutions. You'll play a key role once an order is secured, coordinating technical delivery and ensuring customers are fully prepared for installation and configuration. What You'll Be Doing Managing external customer projects from order through to delivery Creating, maintaining, and owning detailed project plans Acting as a key technical point of contact for customers and their engineering teams Coordinating with internal sales, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and commercial teams Ensuring equipment is delivered at the right time and to the right specification Supporting occasional smaller internal projects as required Helping customers understand and prepare for system integration and deployment Identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycleThis role suits someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, people, and delivery, and who is comfortable navigating the challenges of integrating complex electronic systems in demanding environments. What We're Looking For A degree in a technical subject (or equivalent practical experience) Experience working with electronic hardware or complex systems Solid, hands‑on project management experience Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to clearly document and communicate technical information Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Excellent spoken and written English Working Pattern & Travel Hybrid working is supported, with three days per week in the office to enable close collaboration Occasional international travel to customer sites or installation locations may be required Location & Culture The role is based just south of Cambridge, with ample on‑site parking and easy access by road and rail.
