Job Title: Estimator – Bespoke Joinery Manufacturing Location: Elland – hybrid working opportunities Employment Type: Permanent Salary £30-£32k Role Overview Thrive Personnel Ltd are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Estimator/ Order Processor to join our bespoke joinery manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for high-quality, custom-made joinery projects across residential and commercial sectors. This role requires a strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, labour, and installation, as well as the ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications with precision. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for bespoke joinery projects from drawings, specifications, and tender documents Analyse architectural and interior design drawings to identify scope, materials, and manufacturing requirements Measure and take off quantities for joinery components, materials, fittings, finishes, and labour Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials, hardware, finishes, and specialist works Collaborate closely with production, workshop, and installation teams to ensure estimates are practical and achievable Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining design intent and quality Prepare and submit tender documentation within specified deadlines Maintain and update costing databases, rates, and supplier pricing Support project handovers by providing clear cost breakdowns and assumptions Assist with variations, cost reviews, and post-tender negotiations where required What We Offer Opportunity to work on high-end, bespoke joinery projects Collaborative and experienced team environment Competitive salary based on experience Long-term career development within a growing business Hybrid working options
