The Opportunity In response to ongoing growth and strategic initiatives, our Client is seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager specialising in defence sectors. This pivotal role is designed to drive the identification and expansion of new business opportunities, with a focus on emerging technologies and strategic partnerships. As a key member of the team, you will support the integration of cutting-edge trends into product offerings and help shape the company's future landscape within defence markets. Key Responsibilities Source and evaluate new commercial opportunities, with a strong emphasis on emerging technology trends. Cultivate and establish strategic alliances with partners aligned with our Client's medium-term development goals. Collaborate across departments-including Marketing, Development, Sales, and Finance-to align efforts with strategic objectives. Analyse and monitor technological advancements to inform product management decisions. Support and contribute to marketing strategies aimed at opening new avenues for business growth. Essential Skills & Experience Degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a comparable discipline. Proven experience in business development, especially within defence, satellite communications, or communications engineering. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical capabilities with extensive market research and trend evaluation experience.
