Supply Chain Specialist

Supply Chain Specialist Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join a manufacturing business based in Basingstoke. Our client is looking for an individual who is responsible for managing end to end operational purchasing activities. Responsibilities as a Supply Chain Specialist: Manage the complete purchasing process, including creating purchase orders, issuing purchase contracts, coordinating logistics and ensuring delivery follow up Perform price calculations and manage supplier payment enquiries Track all raw material deliveries Monitor current raw material stock levels and analyse future demand Develop and maintain a detailed cost-tracking spreadsheet for all procurement Conduct regular cost analysis of existing inventory to support  decision making Coordinate with lab teams for quality assessments, testing and approval Engage with suppliers to clarify technical specifications Requirements as a Supply Chain Specialist: Bachelor degree in supply chain, business or engineering Experience in purchasing, sourcing or supply chains Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) Familiarity with logistics process and international trade High attention to details and strong organisational skills The Supply Chain Specialist: Fully office based in Basingstoke Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 4pm £40,000 - £42,000 depending on experience 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Private Medical Cover Generous pension contribution If you have the required experience and interested in this Supply Chain Specalist, please apply with an up to date CV or give Jemma at Pertemps a call
