The company is a leading refurbishment contractor and is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its dynamic team in Verwood. Specialising in high-quality refurbishment projects across the residential, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors, they offer a unique opportunity to be part of a company that prides itself on delivering exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately estimate the cost of refurbishment projects, including materials, labour, and overheads. * Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope. * Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather quotations and negotiate prices. * Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and ensure that estimates are within budgetary constraints. * Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals. * Provide support to the project management team throughout the lifecycle of projects. * Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and materials to ensure the best value is achieved for each project. Skills and Experience Required: * Proven experience as an Estimator within the refurbishment industry (residential, healthcare, education, or commercial sectors). * Strong knowledge of construction methods, costs, and materials. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. * Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. * A relevant qualification in construction, surveying, or a related field would be advantageous.
