Recruitment Consultant

Due to a strong 2025 and planned growth for 2026, we’re looking to grow our team with an experienced recruiter. With a combined 40 years’ experience in recruitment, you’ll work with a great team who are experts in their field. We’re a specialist textile recruitment business, supporting our partners with hiring senior, professional and technical roles, up to and including board level hires. Who wants to work on their birthday? * Ongoing training and clear progression * Pension Scheme * Online perks + optical care * Mobile phone and laptop provided About You * You’ve got proven experience as a 360 recruiter (perm) or you’re working in a sales roles within textiles or engineering and you’re interested in a recruitment career * Knowledge of textiles, manufacturing or engineering sectors is a huge plus * You’re confident building new business on a cold desk * Strong headhunting skills (our target market is senior and technical roles which means more confidential approaches) * You’re passionate; you value building and nurturing your own client base * Ambitious and target driven, both personally and professionally, sharing the same goal as the wider team * A supportive and collaborative mindset; we share the workload when needed and celebrate wins together * A good sense of humour, down-to-earth and positive energy * You love recruitment/sales and take pride in doing it extremely well About the Role You’ll develop your own desk, focused on senior, technical and professional roles. * Build a new client base through market mapping and outreach (supported by marketing exec) * Winning and nurturing long-term client partnerships * Driving the entire recruitment process while proactively uncovering new leads and maintaining strong market insight * Effective headhunting projects * Managing your own pipeline and activity * Contributing to shared team targets and business growth About Bowmay * Independently owned, boutique recruitment company based in Rochdale * Specialists in recruiting senior, professional & technical talent for the textiles, manufacturing and engineering sectors * We work hard, back each other, share goals and enjoy a good laugh along the way
