Sen Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant. Long-Term SEN Roles in Coventry We only work on SEN roles. That focus is why so many schools come to us first when they need consistent, reliable Teaching Assistants who understand additional needs and want to stay. Some pupils need consistency more than anything else. Familiar faces. Steady routines. Adults who stay. This role’s for Teaching Assistants who want to commit to full-time, long-term or permanent SEN work across Coventry and the surrounding areas. We work with mainstream schools that have SEN provision and specialist SEN settings throughout Coventry and nearby locations. These roles suit people with recent classroom experience, as well as Psychology or SEN-related graduates who want to build stability and progression into their early career. The roles * Supporting pupils with additional needs across the school day, either 1:1 or in small groups * Working within mainstream classrooms with SEN provision or specialist SEN settings * Helping pupils stay engaged, regulated, and ready to learn * Following guidance from teachers and SENCOs to support individual needs * Supporting routines, transitions, and positive behaviour approaches * Building trusting relationships with pupils over time * Being a consistent presence in a Coventry-area SEN setting What we’re looking for * Recent classroom-based experience of at least 6 months in a mainstream or SEN setting, or a Psychology or SEN-related graduate with hands-on classroom or support experience * Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, or SEMH * Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday * Commitment to long-term or permanent placements rather than day-to-day supply * A calm, patient, and reflective approach * A reliable and professional attitude What’s on offer * Full-time, long-term or permanent SEN roles across Coventry and surrounding areas * Consistent routines and the chance to see progress over time * Ongoing support from a team that only works within SEN * Experience that supports future teaching or specialist pathways Why Sprint? If you’re looking to work as a Year 6 teacher in a mainstream classroom, providing day-to-day supply cover, we’re probably not the agency for you. But if you’re passionate about supporting students with additional needs and want a long-term role where you can build consistency and see the impact of your work every day, that’s exactly what we do.
