Purchase Ledger Clerk 📍 Shirebrook, Nottinghamshire 🏢 PLS Civil Engineering Ltd 💷 £13 per hour PLS Civil Engineering Ltd is a well-established and growing company based in Shirebrook, Nottinghamshire. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role and solid knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts. Key Responsibilities: * Match supplier invoices to delivery notes and purchase orders * Process supplier invoices accurately using Sage 50 Accounts * Communicate with sites and suppliers via phone and email to resolve discrepancies or obtain additional information * Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations to ensure all invoices and credits are accounted for * Resolve purchase invoice queries through both email and telephone communication with suppliers and internal departments Requirements: * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role * Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts * Excellent accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines Hours and Salary: * Part-time: 5 days per week * Hours: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible for the right candidate) * Rate: £13 per hour Location: Shirebrook, Nottinghamshire (office-based role) About PLS Civil Engineering Ltd: PLS Civil Engineering Ltd provides a range of civil engineering services across the region, delivering quality, reliability, and precision to every project.
