Logistics Manager

We are hiring a hands-on Road/Rail Freight Specialist to support European road and rail freight movements for a client based in Amsterdam. This is a commercially focused operations role with real responsibility and the opportunity to help shape and build a growing function. Working Hours: 09:00-17:30, Monday to Friday Salary: Up to €55,000, depending on experience Key Responsibilities Optimise European road and rail freight flows Support trading and commercial decision-making Identify cost efficiencies and optimisation opportunities Analyse freight data to improve routing, pricing, and execution Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners Negotiate with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to optimize costs Help build and refine processes as the function growsMust-Have Profile Strong experience in European road and/or rail freight Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Commercially minded (understands cost, margin, and trade-offs) Proven hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment Comfortable working closely with traders or commercial teams Individual contributor mindset (not a pure people manager) Fluent English (spoken and written) requiredWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
