Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a road widening scheme in Edinburgh. This is a fixed-term contract role offering a strong day rate and a defined programme of works. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for road widening, drainage, kerbing, and associated highways works * Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme * Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records * Working closely with the Site Manager and subcontractors * Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on site Requirements: * Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or road projects * Competent with setting out equipment (GPS / Total Station) * Strong understanding of highways specifications and civils construction * Valid CSCS card (essential) * SMSTS or SSSTS desirable but not essential What’s on Offer: * £350 – £400 per day, depending on experience * 7 months’ work on a well-structured project * Start date of 9th February If you are a Site Engineer available for a February start and interested in a road widening project in Edinburgh, please apply with your CV for further details
