The school provides specialist support for students aged 2- 18 years with Autism and other more complex needs. It is a wonderful place to work, where children and staff are one big community! About you: Must be patient, empathetic and resilient Have strong communication skills (with children, parents, and staff). Be flexible and adaptable Work well as part of a team Experience working with children, ideally those with special educational needs Understanding of different types of special educational needs Experience with specialist communication methods (e.g. Makaton, PECS, BSL, AAC devices) is desirable Willingness to assist with personal care needs where required (feeding, toileting, mobility assistance).
