A well-established and growing Architectural Design Practice based in Shipley is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its technical delivery team. The practice is best known for its high-quality work across the Commercial and Residential development sectors and continues to benefit from a strong pipeline of secured projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable Technologist with circa 5+ years’ post-qualification experience, either currently operating as a Project Runner or ready to step into that role, to take on increased responsibility within a supportive and design-led environment. About the Role As part of the wider technical team, you will take a key role in the technical delivery of multiple projects, from post-planning stages through to construction and completion. Working closely with Directors, consultants, and site teams, you will be responsible for producing robust, coordinated technical information and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard. The role requires strong CAD and/or Revit skills, a sound understanding of construction detailing, and confidence in managing technical aspects of projects with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical delivery of commercial and residential projects from planning approval through to completion Produce detailed technical drawing packages for tender, construction, and pricing purposes Coordinate and submit Building Regulations applications with Approved Inspectors Manage and discharge Building Regulation and planning conditions Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors Liaise with external consultants to ensure coordinated technical outputs Respond to site queries and support projects during construction phases Promote best practice in technical standards, compliance, and buildability About You Architectural Technology degree or HND (or equivalent) Circa 5+ years’ experience working within UK architectural practice Strong proficiency in CAD and/or Revit with the ability to produce comprehensive technical packages Excellent knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and associated legislation Broad understanding of construction methods across commercial and residential sectors Experience running projects technically, or demonstrable readiness to step into a Project Runner role Well organised, self-motivated, and confident working across multiple projects What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £35,000 – £45,000, dependent on experience Generous benefits package Office-based role in a modern open-plan studio overlooking the canal and surrounding countryside Supportive working culture with genuine opportunities for progression Early finish on Fridays Interested?
