SW-007-PlastererMulti-228 Plasterer MultiTrader £25- £28 per hour Working for a Maintenance Contractor Based out of Saffron Walden (CB11 4LH) Long-term temp role | Social Housing Maintenance Role good to knows Covering a geographical area covering CB10, CB11, CM22, CM23, and CM24 Own van would be the preference, but business mileage will be paid weekly * If you don’t have your own transport, please still apply as a hire option could be available Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Plasterer Multi-Trader to join a busy social housing maintenance team working across properties in CB10, CB11, CM22, CM23, and CM24. This is a long-term temporary position carrying out a mixture of day-to-day repairs, some planned works, and general maintenance within occupied properties. The ideal candidate will be a strong Plasterer with reliable multi-trade skills and the ability to work independently, delivering high-quality repairs to a good standard. They should also have thermal boarding experience and ideally additional skills in carpentry or plumbing. Key Responsibilities As a Plasterer Multi-Trader, your duties will include: * Completing minor patch work through to full board and skim, renewals and installations in occupied properties * You could also be undertaking multi-trade works including: * Tiling (splashbacks) * Painting & decorating * General domestic repairs * Working towards a first-time fix wherever possible * Planning and managing your own daily workload to meet contract SLAs * Logging works accurately and completing daily job sheets * Ensuring all work meets high standards of safety and quality * Providing a professional, respectful service to tenants * Reporting any additional or follow-on works required * Maintaining van stock, equipment and materials * Working independently or as part of a team when required Essential Criteria * Experience working in occupied residential settings * Strong customer service and communication skills * Full UK Driving Licence * Ability to work independently across a dispersed housing patch Desirable Criteria * Previous social housing repairs experience * NVQ Level 2/3 in Plastering or time-served equivalent * Experience using a PDA’s of job sheets * Understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance environments * Knowledge of SOR codes would be helpful but not initial What You Will Receive * Competitive hourly rate of £25 - £28per hour * Long term temporary assignment with the potential for a permanent role * Own van required with good mileage rate * Company van and fuel card provided * Work across a dedicated CB10, CB11, CM22, CM23, and CM24 patch * Weekly pay * Opportunity to contribute to improving the quality and safety of tenants’ homes Next step to apply for this Plasterer role: As a candidate ideally with similar experience, you will already know the technical specifications of this role, but following your application of interest, you will have the role explained in more detail ITS Property Maintenance are acting as an employment business for this vacancy To achieve the upper pay bracket you must show good experience of working on social housing repair contracts.
