Position: Engineering Geologist Location: Glasgow, Scotland Salary: To £34,000 Contract: Permanent, full-time About the Role We are working with a leading consultancy who are seeking an Engineering Geologist to join their expanding team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a wide range of geotechnical and civil engineering projects across Scotland and the wider UK. Key Responsibilities * Plan, manage, and undertake ground investigations. * Supervise drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing. * Interpret geological, geotechnical, and environmental data. * Prepare factual and interpretative reports. * Support geotechnical design for foundations, earthworks, and retaining structures. * Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators to ensure smooth project delivery. Requirements * Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or related discipline. * Experience in site investigation and geotechnical engineering (postgraduate or industry). * Strong knowledge of UK geology and ground conditions. * Excellent report writing and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Full UK driving licence.
