Site Supervisor

Job Title: Site Supervisor – Re-Roofing Project Location: Plymouth Project Duration: Approx. 3 months Start Date: 2nd week of February Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with strong re-roofing experience to oversee a short-term construction project in Plymouth. The project involves the removal of structural timber installed as part of a previous solar installation, followed by associated re-roofing works. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and programme delivery throughout the project duration. Key Responsibilities * Overall day-to-day management of the site * Supervision of re-roofing works, including removal and replacement of structural roof timber * Coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers * Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme * Maintaining high standards of health & safety (RAMS, toolbox talks, site inductions) * Monitoring quality control and workmanship * Managing site documentation, progress reports, and daily records * Liaising with the client, project team, and solar installation teams where required * Ensuring the project is delivered on time and within scope Required Experience & Skills * Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on re-roofing or roofing refurbishment projects * Strong understanding of roof structures and structural timber * Experience working on projects involving solar installations (desirable) * Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations * Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills * Ability to manage short-term, programme-driven projects
