Brake Press Operator

Job Title: Amada Brake Press Operator Location: Pershore Pay Rate: £13.50-£15.00 per hour (Dependant on experience) Hours: * Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:15 * Friday: 08:00 – 13:15 Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Amada Press Brake Operator to join a busy manufacturing team in Pershore. The ideal candidate will be confident setting and operating Amada machines, working from technical drawings, and producing high-quality folded sheet metal parts with accuracy and consistency. Key Responsibilities: * Set and operate Amada press brake machines * Work from engineering drawings to produce accurate components * Carry out tooling setups, adjustments, and programme changes as required * Perform quality checks on finished parts * Maintain a safe and clean working environment * Complete production tasks within required timeframes * Report any machine issues or defects to the supervisor * Work collaboratively with the wider fabrication and production teams Skills & Experience Required: * Previous experience operating Amada press brake machinery (essential) * Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail and quality standards * Confident with machine setup, tooling, and adjustments * Good understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Benefits: * Competitive hourly rate * Early finish on Fridays * Opportunity for long-term work and skill development
