Labour Procurement Specialist

Labour MEP Procurement Lead – Own the Subcontract Supply Chain Know the MEP labour market inside out and ready to have real influence over who gets on site, when and on what terms? This role puts you at the centre of the firm’s subcontract strategy for major UK projects.​​ You will lead procurement of mechanical, electrical and plumbing subcontract and labour packages, making sure scopes are clear, commercials are tight and delivery partners can actually perform. From early engagement through tender, negotiation, award and performance review, you will shape a supply chain that keeps projects moving and margins protected.​ In this role you will: * Prepare and manage tenders, analyse quotations and negotiate best value while safeguarding quality, safety and compliance.​ * Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key subcontractors and labour agencies, using SRM tools to track performance and drive improvement.​ * Work closely with Operations, QS and Technical Procurement teams to align scopes, budgets, programmes and risk, linking payments to completed quality checks.​ You’ll bring deep MEP knowledge, strong commercial acumen and at least five years’ experience in building services or MEP construction, ideally with a focus on labour or subcontract management.​ In return, this role offers a competitive package, structured development and the chance to shape a high-performing subcontract supply chain for complex MEP projects, with occasional travel to London and other sites.​​ No need for a perfect CV.
