Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing Cardiff Monday to Friday | Double Days (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm) £43,000 + 5% Bonus A well-established manufacturing company based in Cardiff is entering an exciting phase of transformation, with significant investment and site improvements planned. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their engineering team. The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of manufacturing equipment across the site. The position is multi-skilled, requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise. Key responsibilities include: * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery * Electrical and mechanical fault finding to minimise downtime * Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment as part of site investment * Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities * Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards About You: The successful Maintenance Engineer will have: * Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment * Both electrical and mechanical knowledge (multi-skilled) * Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * A proactive and team-focused attitude If you’re a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a role with stability, investment, and genuine growth opportunities, this is an excellent time to join.
