Business Development Manager - Hospital ULM


We’re supporting a specialist unlicensed medicines provider that is expanding its commercial team and looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager with strong hospital-focused sales experience. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth across NHS and private hospital accounts, developing new opportunities, and strengthening long-term partnerships within the unlicensed and named-patient supply space. Key responsibilities * Develop and execute a UK-wide sales strategy for unlicensed medicines * Build and manage relationships with hospital pharmacy teams, procurement, and key clinical stakeholders * Identify and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts * Work closely with internal procurement, quality, and operations teams to ensure compliant service delivery * Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting discipline * Represent the business professionally within the UK healthcare market Ideal background * Proven B2B sales experience within unlicensed medicines or specialist pharmaceutical supply * Strong track record selling into NHS and/or private hospitals * Commercially driven with the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments * Comfortable operating in a field-based, UK-wide role * Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and service-led sales Package * £60,000 – £65,000 base salary * Performance-related bonus * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * UK-wide, autonomous role with strong growth potential
