Procurement Officer Llanberis/Dinorwig Monday – Friday £48,189.07 per annum/£25.05 per hour - 6 month contract min.  Are you an experienced Procurement Officer looking for your next challenge? If so, read on… This is an excellent opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join a well-established organisation within the utilities sector, supporting day-to-day procurement operations at a major UK power generation site. The Procurement Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, compliant, and efficient purchasing of goods and services across the business. This Procurement Officer position is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on procurement role, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers while supporting wider procurement objectives. The Role – Procurement Officer: As a Procurement Officer, your responsibilities will include: Procuring goods and services in line with company procedures and ethical standards Processing requisitions and raising purchase orders Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong supplier relationships Supporting the Procurement Manager with contract development and placement Executing contracts as required, including consumables, plant spares, and ad-hoc purchases Ensuring an uninterrupted supply of goods and services Managing contracts with delegated authority up to £50,000 Supporting value-for-money initiatives and cost optimisation Ensuring compliance with ESG, H&S, and environmental requirements Producing reports, managing trackers, and maintaining accurate audit trails Working closely with engineering, maintenance, finance, and operational teams This Procurement Officer role is based primarily at Dinorwig Power Station and will involve collaboration across multiple UK sites.
