Wellbeing Coordinator Location: Long Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk Salary: £28,325 per annum We have an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Coordinator to provide intensive housing management and wellbeing services to tenants living in Saffron communities. To work as part of a collaborative and professional team of wellbeing coordinators delivering high quality customer services. ​ Key Responsibilities Include: * Carry out the sign-up process and post-allocation activities to enable tenants to be settled within their new home, providing advice and assistance where necessary and to undertake the required follow up tenancy visits. * Undertake, monitor, and maintain fire safety checks and health and safety inspections, ensuring compliance with Saffron’s Health and Safety Policy and Procedures. * Encourage and empower tenants to maintain independence and maximise customer involvement and ensure tenants know how to use any equipment that is provided. * Carry out regular inspections of the building to identify and resolve repair, maintenance, and security issues. For a full list of responsibilities please see the attached Role Profile Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: Educations and Qualifications: * Good level of general education to NVQ level 3, or 3 GCSE’s grade C or higher, or equivalent, to include English Language and Mathematics. * Full driving license (use of own transport) Experience: * An understanding of the needs of older people, including an understanding of the physical and social requirements of the elderly is essential * To have experience of delivering well-being services * Ability to accurately record all occurrences, incidents etc. * An ability to recognise various types of support needs and how they can be addressed * Experience of working independently and on own initiative and decision making is essential * Ability to use IT effectively, with proficient keyboard skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office which must include MS Word, Excel and Outlook or willingness to learn Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: * Good interpersonal skills – an understanding of the skills required to work in partnership with other agencies and service providers. Tact, diplomacy, integrity, discretion and empathy is essential. * Understanding of the need for quality service delivery and how to meet the needs identified. * Ability to remain calm in challenging situations. * A high level of respect for confidentiality, diversity and a knowledge of related legislation – including GDPR is needed. * Understanding Safeguarding how to recognise the signs and understand the reporting process. Personal Attributes: * Ability to organise work to achieve high performance and the delivery of other management functions and possess excellent administration skills * Ability to use initiative and assess complex situations * To maintain a positive and flexible approach in relation to all aspects of customer care and service delivery.
