Factory Manager – Food Manufacturing Location: Greater Manchester Salary: Up to £70,000 + car allowance + benefits Our client, a highly regarded food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead its new, state-of-the-art facility in Greater Manchester. This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced food operation that forms part of a well-established and growing group. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for site performance, leading a relatively inexperienced but ambitious management team. We are looking for a true “lead from the front” manager who is hands-on, visible on the factory floor, and passionate about developing people, building capability, and creating a high-performance culture. This role will suit an individual who wants to play a pivotal part in the planned growth of an exciting food portfolio, driving standards across safety, quality, service, and cost. The role involves full accountability for day-to-day factory operations, leading, supporting, and developing junior managers and supervisors, driving high standards of food safety, quality, and health & safety, delivering operational KPIs including efficiency, waste, and labour, and supporting continuous improvement and future site growth plans. We are keen to speak with candidates who have proven factory or operations management experience within food manufacturing, strong people leadership skills with experience developing teams, a hands-on, proactive management style, and experience in fast-paced FMCG environments.
