If so, read on… My client is a growing, family-owned engineering business based in Leicester, operating at the forefront of their sector. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a skilled Project Engineer to join their Project Engineering team and help bridge the gap between design and successful on-site delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving, project variety, and working in a hands-on engineering environment.   The Role – Project Engineer:  Leading the technical aspects of assigned projects from inception through to completion Working closely with the Drawing Office Manager to review, interpret, and implement technical drawings and specifications Calculating and planning material and labour requirements to support effective project delivery Acting as a key technical point of contact between design, site teams, and stakeholders Attending the site to conduct surveys, oversee technical installation,s and resolve engineering issues Maintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations Proactively identifying technical risks and resolving issues before they impact delivery Minimum Skills / Experience Required – Project Engineer:  Proven experience in a Project Engineer, Project Engineering, or Technical Engineering role Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings (CAD / BIM experience beneficial) A practical, problem-solving approach to engineering challenges Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details to non-technical stakeholders A full UK Driving Licence (essential due to site travel) Previous lift industry experience would be highly advantageous, but is not essential Alternative job titles / keywords: Project Engineer, Technical Engineer, Engineering Coordinator, Project Engineering Specialist, Installation Engineer, Applications Engineer   The Package – Project Engineer: Salary up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) Full-time, permanent position Office-based role (5 days per week) with site travel Supportive, family-owned business environment Ongoing professional development and long-term career progression   About Precision People Precision People is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in sourcing top talent for Engineering, Technical, Sales and Senior Management roles across a wide range of industries.
