Forklift Driver

Forklift Driver Location: Southminster Pay Rate: £13.44 -£14.71 Hours: Monday to Friday, 07.00-19.00 Contract: Temporary to Permanent Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join a busy company based in Southminster. Must be able to drive and have own transport, due to location. Responsibilities: Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area. Operate Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; Move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material. Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance. Operate Loader on public or private roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader. Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Loader. Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required.Requirements: Fork Lift Truck and attachments qualifications Loader Driver qualifications if available Tele Handler driver qualifications if available Working at heights Lifting and handling Team player Basic engineering knowledge would be a plus Good communication skills What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of £13.44-£14.71 on nights Work days one week then every other week nights with a weekend off Monday to Sunday 07.00-19:00 Free on site parking Friendly working environment If you are interested in this Forklift Driver role, please apply with your up-to-date CV
