Groundworks Site Manager / Supervisor – Freelance Location: Ashford, Kent Contract: Freelance (Long-Term Ongoing) Rate: Competitive – DOE Start Date: Immediate / ASAP We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager / Supervisor for a freelance, long-term ongoing position on a busy site in Ashford, Kent. This role would suit a hands-on individual with strong groundworks knowledge and proven site management experience. Key Responsibilities: * Managing day-to-day groundworks operations on site * Supervising groundworkers, plant operators, and subcontractors * Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to specification * Liaising with the main contractor, engineers, and site teams * Enforcing health & safety standards and site compliance * Ordering materials and completing site paperwork * Conducting toolbox talks and daily briefings Requirements: * Proven experience as a Groundworks Site Manager or Supervisor * Strong background in drainage, foundations, externals, and associated groundworks * SMSTS or SSSTS * Valid CSCS card * First Aid at Work (preferred) * Ability to work independently and manage teams What’s on Offer: * Freelance role only – no PAYE * Long-term, ongoing work * Competitive rates paid weekly * Immediate start available To Apply: Please submit your CV or contact us directly for more information
