Test Lead - Workday A leading professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Workday Test Lead to support the delivery of a major Workday implementation and the ongoing testing of future releases. This is a permanent role within a change and transformation function, offering the opportunity to shape testing standards and system assurance across business‑critical programmes. Key Responsibilities Define and own the end‑to‑end test strategy for a large‑scale Workday implementation and future programmes. Lead all phases of testing, including SIT, UAT, regression and end‑to‑end testing. Develop and maintain test plans, schedules, resource forecasts, and testing governance. Oversee test data, environment readiness, and release testing. Drive test automation strategy and implementation using appropriate tools and frameworks. Manage and mentor internal and external test resources, coordinating activity across projects. Act as the main point of contact for testing, working closely with delivery teams and stakeholders. Manage defect and risk processes, providing clear reporting and mitigation. Produce test metrics, dashboards, and progress updates for senior stakeholders. Ensure adherence to quality standards and audit requirements. Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Workday Test Lead on large‑scale Workday implementation programmes. Strong knowledge of Workday modules specifically Finance and HR. Hands‑on experience with test automation and framework design. Familiarity with test management and automation tools (e.g. JIRA, ALM, Selenium, Workday testing tools). Background in professional services or similarly fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environments. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Detail‑focused, quality‑driven, and delivery orientated.
