Senior Civil Engineer – Contract Infrastructure & Drainage | Residential & Mixed-Use An established engineering design consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Contract) to support a strong and ongoing pipeline of residential and mixed-use development projects across the UK. This is a hands-on design role, suited to an experienced civil engineer who can take schemes from feasibility through to detailed design and technical approvals. The Role Lead delivery of civil infrastructure and drainage design for residential and mixed-use developments Produce and review detailed designs for highways, drainage, levels and earthworks Prepare drawings, calculations and supporting information for S38, S104 and S278 approvals Coordinate with local authorities, statutory undertakers and internal project teams Provide technical input and guidance across multiple live schemes Manage workload independently while supporting wider project delivery About You We would be interested in reviewing CVs for candidates with: A strong UK engineering consultancy background Circa 8 years plus experience, primarily within residential and mixed-use development Proven experience delivering infrastructure and drainage schemes through S38, S104 and S278 approvals Solid understanding of UK standards, adoption processes and local authority requirements Confidence working autonomously in a contract environment Software Site 3D Civil 3D Causeway Flow AutoCAD What’s on Offer Competitive contract rate (Outside IR35 where applicable) Immediate or short-notice start available Long-term contract potential on a consistent residential workload Opportunity to work with an established consultancy on well-run projects 📩 For more information or to submit a CV, please get in touch directly
