Mobile Plant Fitter – Wandsworth, London Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum + plentiful overtime Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent NEOS Engineering is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing plant maintenance company based out of Wandsworth, London. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile Plant Fitter to join their field-based engineering team. About the Role As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of construction and heavy plant equipment at customer sites. This is a hands-on, autonomous role requiring strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to keeping machinery operational and compliant. Key Responsibilities Carry out mobile plant maintenance and repairs at customer locations Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical faults Complete servicing in line with manufacturer schedules and company standards Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Accurately complete job reports and communicate effectively with management Represent the company professionally on-site and maintain strong customer relationships What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or Heavy Plant Engineer NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or similar (or willingness to work towards) Own tools suitable for mobile plant maintenance Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability Self-motivated, reliable, and flexible approach to work Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude Why Join Us?
