Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading specialist contractor, is delivering a major rail infrastructure project in Scotland and is looking to add a talented Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team. This is your chance to work on complex, high-value works with clear opportunities for progression into Commercial Management. What you’ll be doing: * Preparing and presenting monthly financial, contractual, and management reports * Monitoring bills of quantities, specifications, and project changes * Managing costs, variations, and opportunities for additional works * Supporting tenders, pricing, and commercial strategies alongside the Contracts Manager What we’re looking for: * Proven Quantity Surveyor experience (rail experience is great, but we also welcome applications from civils, highways, utilities, or wider infrastructure backgrounds) * Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying / Construction * Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills * Proactive, organised, and able to deliver to deadlines What’s in it for you: * Competitive salary + performance-related pay * Car allowance * Pension and comprehensive benefits package * Professional development support with genuine career progression opportunities This is a site-based role with regular travel, with Glasgow as the primary location.
