Job Title: Regional Quality Assurance Manager – Nursing Homes Location: South West based Salary: £70,000-£75,000 plus package Full-time, Permanent About the Role Purosearch are working with a well respected care provider who are expanding across the South West, they specialise in elderly and dementia nursing and residential homes. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional Quality Assurance Manager to support and drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across a portfolio of nursing and residential homes in the South West of England. This is a senior, influential role working closely with operational and clinical teams to ensure services consistently meet and exceed CQC standards and deliver outstanding, person-centred care. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee quality assurance systems across a group of nursing homes Conduct regular audits, inspections, and quality reviews aligned to CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) Support homes to prepare for CQC inspections and respond effectively to inspection outcomes Identify risks, trends, and areas for improvement, implementing robust action plans Provide expert guidance on clinical governance, safeguarding, medication management, and best practice Work closely with Home Managers, Regional Directors, and central teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement Support investigation and resolution of incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns Deliver coaching, mentoring, and quality-focused training where required Essential Requirements Registered General Nurse (RGN or RMN ideally) Previous experience working as a CQC Inspector or proven experience in a Quality Assurance / Quality Improvement role within the nursing home or care home sector Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, frameworks, and inspection processes Must have worked in a regional / multisite / senior management role Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills Ability to influence, challenge, and support senior stakeholders Willingness to travel regionally as required Experience supporting services rated Requires Improvement or Inadequate to improve ratings Background in nursing homes providing complex or elderly care What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to shape quality strategy across a growing care organisation Autonomy and senior-level influence Supportive leadership team committed to high-quality care How to Apply If you are passionate about quality, compliance, and improving outcomes for residents, we would love to hear from you.
