Quality & Safety Coordinator Havant Permanent – Full time £34,000 Overview: My client is seeking a proactive Quality and Safety Coordinator to ensure top-tier product quality and a safe workplace in our manufacturing operations. This role drives compliance, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety and quality across all teams. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee quality assurance, inspections, documentation, and equipment calibration. * Lead process improvements and corrective actions to enhance product quality and reduce waste. * Manage supplier quality and maintain weld certifications. * Develop and implement safety policies, conduct audits, and deliver employee training. * Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence. * Ensure compliance with ISO standards and relevant regulations; prepare reports for audits. * Communicate performance metrics and collaborate with production teams, management, suppliers, and auditors. Skills & Competencies: * Strong knowledge of quality and safety systems, Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO standards. * Analytical problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. * Proficiency with quality and safety monitoring software and reporting tools.
