This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 2 practitioner who enjoys delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they develop confidence, independence and strong academic foundations. The role As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum. You'll work closely with senior leaders and classroom support staff to create a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed. Schools are looking for committed teachers who can maintain high expectations while building strong, supportive relationships with pupils. Responsibilities Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum Creating an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development Working effectively with teaching assistants and support staff Encouraging positive behaviour and clear classroom routines Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleaguesAbout the schools Supportive and welcoming staff teams Strong focus on pupil well-being and achievement Well-equipped classrooms and engaging learning spaces Schools located across Birkenhead, Wallasey, Heswall and the wider WirralThe ideal candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 Confident, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging lessons Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards Good understanding of safeguarding and primary school policiesSafeguarding Prospero Teaching is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
