Site Manager (Fit-out) Dublin City

Our client, a well known leading Irish fit out specialist is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their Dublin based team. The client in question are operating a number of high end retail and office space projects across Dublin city and south Dublin. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive salary and ancillary benefits Role and Responsibilities: * Overseeing fit-out construction operations on a day-to-day basis * Ensuring that work is done safely, to tight deadlines and to the right quality standards * Monitoring progress, overseeing delivery of materials and carrying out safety checks * Weekly meetings * Dealing with any problems which could hold up work as they arise * Liaising closely with the Project Manager and members of the site team at all times * Sub cointractor liaison * Ability to handle pressure * Liaising closely with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners * Ensuring work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation as well as other legal requirements * Delegating, motivating and guiding labourers * Updating and reporting back regularly on progress The Ideal Candidate will have: * Previous experience (ideally in fit-out sector) as a Site Manager with 5+ years experience * A solid track record of managerial experience within the construction industry required * Excellent communication, organisation & time management skills are essential * Proven track record of working to strict timescales * Previous experience on Infrastructure and Commercial projects * Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation is required Package: * Competitive Salary * Company Vehicle or Travel Allowance * Company Laptop * Company phone, Pension * Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
