Handyman (Maintenance)

My client is a leading property maintenance company, offering multi disciplinary services to suit their clients requirements. Due to an expansion in their contracts, they are seeking a handyman (with a minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance/FM/property maintenance) to join their team in London, who specialise in building maintenance within commercial & residential properties. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous experience in the building maintenance industry and a varied knowledge of carrying out maintenance duties in a commercial or residential environment. Duties will include but not limited to: * Blind repairs * Installation of hatches * Installation of carpet tiles * Installation of stair nosing’s * Assisting other trades and gaining skill training * Building furniture * Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works. * Completion of work sheets via our mobile app * This is a mobile role (although driving license not essential) Required qualifications and experience: * A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements. * Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors. * A HSE understanding * Full UK Driver’s License (not essential) * Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone * Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard * A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service. * City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent * Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry Job Type: Permanent and Full time Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm) Salary: £32-£36k per annum
