Senior Estimator Location: Central London (Hybrid Working) Sector: Commercial Fit Out (Cat A & Cat B) Project Values: Up to £50m Reporting to: Estimating Director The Company Our client, leading UK fit-out contractor delivering high-quality Cat A and Cat B commercial projects for a prestigious portfolio of blue-chip clients are currently seeking an experienced senior estimator to join their City of London-based team. The business has a strong pipeline of central London work and a reputation for professionalism, repeat business, and well-run projects. The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join the pre-construction team, working closely with the Estimating Director on high-value tenders across Central London. You will play a key role in the preparation, management, and submission of competitive tenders, contributing to bid strategy and value engineering while maintaining commercial accuracy and quality. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed cost plans and tenders for Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects up to £50m * Lead tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission * Analyse drawings, specifications, and employer’s requirements * Build and manage supply chain pricing and subcontractor engagement * Attend tender review meetings and contribute to bid strategy * Identify value engineering and risk opportunities * Work collaboratively with pre-construction, commercial, and delivery teams * Support junior estimators where required Experience & Requirements * Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the London commercial fit-out market * Strong background delivering Cat A and Cat B projects * Demonstrable experience tendering for Central London schemes * Experience working on projects up to £50m * Ability to show career stability and longevity on CV * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail * Confident communicator with clients, consultants, and supply chain What’s on Offer * Competitive salary and package * Hybrid working model * Exposure to landmark Central London projects * Clear route for progression within an established estimating team * Long-term, secure workload with blue-chip clients
