JOB DESCRIPTION The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Registered Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of children's residential care services. This pivotal role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with Ofsted standards Leadership & Service Oversight Provide strategic leadership to staff, promoting a culture of care, quality, and compliance. Oversee day-to-day operations and guide Team Leaders and Managers to deliver best-in-class services. Recruit, develop, and mentor staff, creating a supportive and high-performing workforce. Embed a consistent, values-led approach aligned with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding protocols. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance Maintain full compliance with Ofsted standards and statutory requirements. Lead inspections, audits, and quality assurance processes. Develop policies and frameworks to ensure continuous improvement. Care Planning & Young People’s Outcomes Support individualised care plans that promote well-being, independence, and education. Champion access to education, therapy, recreation, and vocational pathways for all young people. Ensure a nurturing and inclusive living environment that reflects a child-first ethos. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 5+ years of experience in children’s residential care At least 4 years in a leadership or managerial role A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain it) In-depth understanding of Ofsted regulations and children’s care standards A passion for making a real, positive difference in young people’s lives Please be advised that only candidates that have the specific skills and experiences required for this role will be shortlisted and submitted to our client for review.
