The Role As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a broad range of projects across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and mixed-use sectors. You will work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, contributing to technically challenging and high-profile schemes. Key Responsibilities Structural design using steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry Preparation of structural calculations, reports, and specifications Working closely with senior engineers and technicians Liaising with clients, architects, and contractors Supporting projects from concept design through to construction Ensuring compliance with UK standards and Scottish regulations About You Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering Experience within a UK consultancy environment SER Registered (Structural Engineers Registration Ltd) Working towards or already ICE or IStructE chartership Strong technical ability and attention to detail Confident communicator with a collaborative approach What’s On Offer Competitive salary dependent on experience Excellent chartership support and mentoring Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Exposure to major UK and Scotland-based projects Modern Glasgow office with a strong team culture Clear long-term progression within a national consultancy
