Planner - Highways

Planner – Highways Regional Civil Engineering Contractor Surrey Are you an experienced Planner looking to develop your career on a Highway Schemes across London and the South? Then a role with this growing Regional Contractor could be for you. My client is a growing Regional Civil Engineering Contractor delivering Schemes for multiple clients across the Highways Sector. They are looking to add a Planner to their Project Delivery Team based in Surrey. As a Planner your duties and responsibilities will include; * Developing and managing construction programmes. * Leading programme meetings with internal teams, clients and subcontractors. * Interpreting drawings and technical information. * Tracking progress and preparing clear, concise reports. * Managing procurement schedules and supporting tender handovers. * Identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies. * Auditing and maintaining programme information to a high standard. * Supporting both live projects and future proposals. * Establish and implement the project requirements for Project Controls. The following qualifications are essential: * Strong planning / programme management experience in construction. * Practical knowledge of NEC contracts and compensation events. * Ability to read and convert technical drawings into workable programmes. * Proficiency with Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or MS Project. * A background in multi-discipline construction environments. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. * Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Construction (preferred).
