Sub Agent – Reinforced Concrete Works - Setting out Bias 📍 West Ruislip  💷 £500 – £600 per day | Inside IR35 Carmichael UK is recruiting an experienced Sub Agent to lead the delivery of reinforced concrete works at West Ruislip on HS2. This is a site-based role suited to a hands-on Sub Agent with strong RC, setting-out and temporary works experience, capable of driving safety, quality and programme on complex civil engineering works. 🔧 The Role Lead and manage reinforced concrete works in line with programme, budget and design Setting out using Total Station, including extraction of points from CAD drawings Interpret and review structural, rebar and formwork drawings Monitor rebar and formwork installation against permanent and temporary works designs Manage ITPs, QA records, as-built documentation and handover packs Own non-conformance reporting through to close-out Coordinate with engineering, design, QA and commercial teams Support design change management and construction-led solutions Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and start-of-shift briefings Maintain accurate daily site diaries and records Supervise, mentor and support site engineers and supervisors Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements ✅ About You Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) Proven experience delivering formwork and reinforced concrete works Strong understanding of construction sequencing and contracts Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator experience Confident working independently on site while collaborating across teams Competent with AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word and document control systems Valid CSCS card Strong communication skills and proactive mindset 💼 What’s On Offer £500 – £600 per day Inside IR35 Long-term opportunity on a major infrastructure project Immediate / short-notice start available
