Senior Electrical / Electronics Engineer Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Salary: Competitive Type: Permanent About the Role: A leading global company in material testing and dynamic systems innovation is seeking a Senior Electrical/Electronics Engineer. You will contribute to the design, development, and support of cutting-edge electrical and electronic systems across the full product lifecycle. You will work in a multi-disciplined team, collaborating with Operations, Service, and Business functions, while driving innovation projects from concept to manufacturing and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities: Develop and analyse analogue, digital, and power electronics designs. Work on instrumentation electronics, signal processing, analogue sensors, and filter design. Apply closed-loop control and 3-phase brushless motor drive knowledge. Produce prototypes, test documentation, and reports. Ensure compliance with relevant safety, EMC, UL, and EU Machinery/Low Voltage Directives. Mentor junior engineers and support cross-department collaboration. Work with external suppliers for component design and integration. Manage project work packages, providing accurate progress and cost updates. Skills & Experience: Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Minimum 5 years' practical experience in a similar role. Proven experience across the full product lifecycle. Strong knowledge of VHDL and FPGA design. Familiarity with PLM, CAD, Cadence, ePLAN. Analytical and practical problem-solving abilities.
