The Opportunity An established and rapidly expanding main contractor is seeking to appoint an experienced Construction Estimator to join their team based in Cardiff. The business delivers a diverse range of projects valued up to £50 million across multiple sectors and has a strong pipeline of secured work. The Role As Construction Estimator, you will be a key member of the pre-construction team, responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates from tender stage through to contract award. Key responsibilities include: * Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions * Taking off quantities from drawings and specifications * Pricing from first principles where required * Reviewing contract documents and identifying commercial risk * Working closely with commercial, design, and delivery teams * Liaising with subcontractors and supply chain partners * Supporting bid strategy, value engineering, and cost planning About You You will come from a strong UK main contractor background, with experience working on medium to large-scale construction projects.
