CNC Machinist – Milling & Turning Pudsey | £15.32 - £21.02 per hour, dependant on level and shift | Permanent | Multiple Shift Options We're recruiting CNC Machinists for a precision manufacturing company in Pudsey, specialising in carbon and graphite components for industrial applications. We have opportunities for both CNC Setter/Operators and CNC Programmer/Setters. What you'll be doing: Operating CNC milling and turning machines (XYZ or Mazak) Setting and operating machines to tight tolerances Working with Siemens, Mazatrol, or Prototrak controls Producing precision components to engineering drawings Quality checking work using measuring equipment Programmer/Setter level: Writing and editing CNC programs What you need: CNC Setter/Operator: Proven experience setting and operating CNC mills and/or lathes Ability to work to engineering drawings Competent with machine controls (Siemens, Mazatrol, or Prototrak) CNC Programmer/Setter: Experience programming, setting, and operating CNC machines Strong programming skills on Siemens, Mazatrol, or similar controls Ability to work independently from drawings What's on offer: Pay rates: CNC Setter/Operator: £15.32 per hour CNC Programmer/Setter: £16.68 per hour Afternoon shift: 26% uplift when working afters £100 per month attendance bonus £1,300 per annum loyalty bonus (after 3 years service) Shift options (choose your preference): Day shift: 07:00-15:30 or 08:00-16:30 Mon-Thu / 07:00-12:00 or 08:00-13:00 Fri Early shift: 06:00-14:00 Mon-Thu / 06:00-12:30 Fri Afternoon shift: 14:00-23:45 Mon-Thu (26% uplift) Rotating earlies/afters: Alternate between early and afternoon shifts This is a permanent position with a specialist manufacturing company producing high-precision carbon and graphite components.
