Assistant Service Centre Manager Croydon Permanent Salary up to £50k + benefits Questech Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a leading vehicle manufacturer as an Assistant Service Centre Manager at their Croydon depot. Key Responsibilities * Support the Regional Service Centre Manager in overseeing daily workshop operations * Supervise technicians and support staff to ensure productivity and quality standards are met * Assist with planning and scheduling servicing, maintenance, and repairs across the fleet * Ensure all vehicles meet legal, safety, and compliance requirements (MOT, inspections, servicing) * Monitor workflow, turnaround times, and parts availability to minimise vehicle downtime * Handle customer and internal stakeholder queries professionally and efficiently * Assist with stock control, ordering of parts, and cost management * Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times * Step in to manage the service centre in the Manager’s absence Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience in a vehicle workshop, fleet maintenance, or service centre environment * Supervisory or team-leading experience preferred * Strong understanding of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and compliance standards * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment * IT-literate with experience using workshop or fleet management systems * A relevant technical qualification (e.g. NVQ / City & Guilds) is desirable * Full UK driving licence What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Clear progression opportunities within a growing organisation * Supportive management team and modern workshop facilities * Ongoing training and professional development * Pension scheme and holiday entitlement If you are a motivated individual looking to take the next step in your fleet or automotive career, we would love to hear from you, please contact (email address removed)
