Branch Manager – Garage Doors Permanent £36,000.00 - £38,000.00 per annum plus bonus & exceptional benefits! Days Watford An established and respected garage door and entrance door installation company, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead their busy Watford branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, hands-on manager to play a key role in a small but dynamic team, overseeing the day-to-day planning, coordination and operation of the branch. The Role As Branch Manager, you will take full responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the branch. This is a varied, practical role combining management, sales, administration and customer service. You will manage a team of four, support installation scheduling, handle customer enquiries and gain in-depth knowledge of our products. This is a hands-on position, involving occasional heavy lifting and direct involvement in branch operations. Key Responsibilities * Managing and motivating a team of 4 staff * Handling enquiries and sales of garage doors and related products * Answering and making telephone calls * Responding promptly to emails * Dealing with customers face-to-face * Processing orders and scheduling installations * Checking delivered goods against delivery notes for condition and quantity * Maintaining an efficient, organised branch operation Essential Skills & Experience * Proven supervisory or management experience * Strong sales and customer service skills * Excellent written and verbal communication * Good IT literacy * Strong time management and organisational skills * Ability to work effectively within a team * High attention to detail * Willingness to be hands-on, including some heavy lifting Desirable Experience * Experience within the garage door industry, construction, builders’ merchants or home improvement sectors Working Hours * Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm * Saturday: 9:00am – 12:30pm (rota basis) Benefits * Competitive salary dependent on experience * Monthly, quarterly and annual performance-related bonus schemes * Company car * Company mobile phone * 5 weeks’ paid holiday * Company pension contributions * Friendly working environment * Full training provided If you’re an organised, people-focused manager who enjoys being involved at every level of the business, we’d love to hear from you.
