Site Fabricator/ Erector

Overview My client is a leading supplier of steel frames for industrial, commercial and residential buildings across the UK. Due to continued demand, they are looking for a skilled Site Fabricator/ Erector to join their team in Edinburgh. You will be working on a variety of fabrication projects, producing high-quality metal components and structures to specification. The Details: * Hours: 50 hours per week, 6 days over 7 (Monday–Saturday) * Shifts: Dayshift * Location: Edinburgh, in the field * Contractual rate: £14.00–£16.50 per hour, depending on experience. * Contract: Permanent Key responsibilities include: * Erection, positioning, and installation of structural steelwork * Bolting, aligning, and securing steel components * Fabricate components according to specifications and drawings * Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively * Conduct assembly tasks to ensure product integrity * Inspect finished products for quality assurance * Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety * Collaborate with team members to meet production goals About You: * Applicants must be proficient in steel work installation with fabrication experience. * Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings * Good attention to detail and pride in your work * Reliable, punctual, and hardworking * Health & safety conscious What We Offer: * Competitive contractual rate of £14.00–£16.50 per hour, depending on experience. * Overtime opportunities * Steady workload with varied projects * Friendly, supportive working environment * Opportunity to grow with the company This role is ideal for dedicated individuals seeking to apply their fabrication/erecting skills within a professional setting.
