Senior Supply Chain Manager

Senior Supply Chain Manager 📍 Liskeard, UK Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and manage all procurement, stores, and logistics activities across UK and overseas operations. This role ensures regulatory compliance, cost-effective purchasing, strong supplier performance, and reliable support to maintenance and flight operations. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, manage, and develop the stores and supply chain team. * Set team objectives, KPIs, and performance standards. * Ensure appropriate resourcing, training, and competency management. * Act as the main escalation point for supply chain issues, including AOG situations. * Oversee procurement of aircraft parts, consumables, tooling, GSE, and services. * Manage suppliers, contracts, negotiations, and ongoing performance. * Develop procurement strategies to control costs and improve lead times. * Support aircraft teardown, storage, preservation, and parts sales activities. * Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and repair vendors. * Ensure stores and logistics activities remain fully Part 145 compliant. * Oversee tooling calibration and compliance monitoring. * Manage stock forecasting, accuracy, rotables, and obsolescence. * Ensure efficient import/export processes, customs compliance, and DG handling. * Lead AOG logistics and oversee shipping and dispatch standards. * Optimise use of ERP/MRP systems (e.g. Aerotrac). * Drive continuous improvement and support ISO 9001 compliance. * Support audits and implement corrective actions. * Act as the main point of contact for supply chain matters internally and externally. What you'll bring: * Proven experience in aviation supply chain and stores management. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Solid understanding of UK CAA / EASA Part 145 and Part M requirements. * Experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation. * Confident user of ERP/MRP systems (Aerotrac preferred). * Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills If this sounds like you, apply today
