Site Welder

Dewey Group are currently seeking an experienced Site Welder for a piling project based in Weston-super-Mare, working on the welding of permanent steel casings. This position is offered on an initial contract, with the potential for long-term ongoing work, subject to performance and project requirements. Role Details: * Location: Weston-super-Mare * Project Type: Piling – permanent steel casing welding * Contract: Initial contract with potential for long-term ongoing work * Hours: 50 hours per week + availbale * Additional opportunities for overtime and weekend work where required Key Responsibilities: * Welding permanent steel casings for piling operations * Carrying out on-site welding in line with project specifications and method statements * Ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality * Working closely with piling operatives, supervisors, and site management * Complying with all site health & safety requirements Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Welder on construction or civil engineering projects * Experience welding steel casings for piling works preferred * Relevant welding qualifications/certifications * Strong understanding of health and safety on site * Ability to work long hours and be flexible with shifts * Valid right to work in the UK What We Offer: * Competitive rates of pay * Consistent hours * All tools and welding equipment provided by the client * Opportunity to work on a specialist piling project * Potential for long-term ongoing work Dewey Group is an equal opportunities employer.
