Estimator – Interior Fit-Out & Specialist Joinery Location: West London (Potentially a Central London office being opened this year!) Sector: Interior Fit-Out, Joinery, Partitions & Specialist Interiors Michael Taylor Search and Selection are currently working alongside a well-established and rapidly growing London-based interior fit-out contractor with over 15 years’ presence in the UK market. The business specialises in high-quality interior fit-out, bespoke joinery, glazing, partitions and finishing works, operating across premium commercial, hospitality and heritage-led projects. The company currently operates at circa £20m turnover and has ambitious growth plans, including expansion of its delivery capability and a strategic move towards main contractor projects. They have a strong and active pipeline, with £30m+ of tenders currently live. Known for their attention to detail, craftsmanship and collaborative delivery style, they work closely with clients, architects and designers to deliver technically complex and design-led interior environments. The Opportunity: Due to sustained growth and an increasingly high-value tender pipeline, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to take a key role in pricing and securing interior fit-out and joinery-led projects. This is a senior opportunity offering autonomy, influence, and long-term progression as the business continues to scale. Key Responsibilities; Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out, bespoke joinery, partitions, glazing and specialist finishes Price projects ranging from £1m–£12m+, including complex hospitality and commercial schemes Analyse drawings, specifications and tender documentation to identify scope, risk and opportunity Obtain, evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations Produce detailed cost plans, tender submissions and value engineering proposals Work closely with directors and project teams throughout the pre-construction phase Assist with bid strategy, tender interviews and post-tender clarifications Support the business’s progression toward main contractor capability Current & Upcoming Projects Include High-end hospitality and luxury hotel interiors Large-scale refurbishment and heritage-led fit-out projects Joinery-intensive and architecturally detailed commercial interiors £30m+ of live tenders across multiple secured client relationships About You Proven experience as an Estimator within interior fit-out, specialist interiors or joinery Comfortable pricing technically complex, design-led and fast-track projects Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills Confident working directly with senior management and supply chain partners Ambitious, detail-focused and keen to join a growing contractor at a pivotal stage Why Apply?
